Gardena Valley JCI is a non-profit organization that has been serving the diverse needs of the community for over 50 years, providing educational, cultural and social programs.
Our mission is to share Japanese culture and the Nikkei community and to create opportunities for the community to connect.

Our activities are geared towards people of all ages, from seniors to children.
Located on the border of the cities of Gardena and Torrance, we foster cultural pride and respect and strengthen community ties.

We create a vibrant network of all those interested in Japanese and Japanese American culture to gather and learn from each other, promoting cultural change and social action.

We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and share the history and culture of the Japanese American community. We offer cultural classes for senior members such as dance, exercise, oil painting, mahjong, etc., workshops, box lunch programs, weekend Japanese language school for children and adults, facility rental for private celebrations and groups, and much more.
