PHONICS （ Phonics ） is the reading and writing of English.
American children learn phonics in Kindergarten at age 5.
English language proficiency is required at the local school. Children attend classes "in English" every day.

If phonics is established by age 6.
"3 ～ Ideally, we should start phonics at age 5.
