Childhood is the optimal period for learning. Creating an English environment at home is the key to improving English proficiency.
Children who grow up in Japan naturally acquire Japanese language skills. In the same way, a rich English environment is effective for English learning.
During this period, children unconsciously absorb the language of their surroundings. It is an "easy period" for learning.
However, things change when they become teenagers. From this point on, motivation dominates learning.
In junior high school and above, any learning requires "the motivation of the student". An English environment alone is not enough.
Even as an adult, you cannot learn English from the environment alone. On the contrary, if you have strong motivation, you can learn English.
