もうすぐ子供が100日になるので日本の様にお参りをしたいのですが、こちらで出産された方どこかお参りが出来る神社ご存知ですか？

このロサンジェルスのどこに神さまの方の神社があるかは知りませんが、寺院でよければリトルトーキョーに立派な建物の東本願寺と西本願寺があります。それとお遍路ではお馴染みの真言宗高野山の寺院、高野山別院が 1st Street の奥まったところにあります。
私らはこの地で子供をふたり授かり、またそのひとりがまたふたりの子を授かったのですが、アメリカに住み着いたのなら、日本人の心は失わないまでも、全てアメリカの風習に従おうと「お宮参り」などは一切気にしませんでした。それでも我々の親からは初孫と言うことで祝い着が送られてきました。
