Someone claiming to be from Citi Bank asked if I had authorized some suspicious account activity. I checked my credit card statement on my computer and saw nothing unusual, so I hung up.

I received a call from US Bank $ asking if I’d bought a firearm for 9,000, and I told them to “go to hell.” When I looked up the phone number, it was listed as US Bank, but it was also listed as a number used by scammers. There was even a fake US Bank website linked to this scam number.

I also got a call from Bank of America about suspicious activity, but I happened to have my son take the call, and he yelled, “What do you want? Get to the point—what do you want?”

Friends I already know ・ acquaintances, or financial institutions ・ or business contacts—are already saved in my phone. When they call, their specific names appear on the screen, so if a call comes in without that name displayed, I absolutely never press the answer button.

If the display shows only a phone number, I completely ignore it and leave it alone until the ring stops.

Since scammers make calls automatically using computers, it seems that if there’s no answer after a few attempts, the system automatically deletes the number.

Lot 13 and 14, where parking costs $5, are likely to fill up an hour before game time on weekends, depending on the matchup and other factors.

On the way back, even if we take our time after the game ends, it’s cool and mostly downhill, so we get there quickly while chatting about the game. If we drive, there’s almost no traffic, so the trip home is smooth.
