It's a sucker's bet that the store will let you buy something at full price just because it's a gift card.

I also check prices and if Target is cheaper, I'll use a gift card. I don't do stupid things like buy there just because I have a gift card.

Thank you all. I guess there is no better way to go cheap. For some reason, my husband thinks that if we buy something with a gift card that we received, it's free. If he had received a cash gift card, he would use it as "his money" and spend it carefully. For some reason I think of gift cards only as magic cards.

I am of the school of thought that gift cards are used up quickly.
I forget I have them, I lose them, and especially with the recent cards, many of them are chargeable with no face value, so I don't know how much is left
Unlike money, I feel like it is a free ticket.
So if I can use it and buy it, I feel like I got it for free, so I don't care about the price.

I used to keep them, but when I had a chance to use them, I didn't bring them, or
they expire, or there are things like gift card scams, and sometimes you can't use them without knowing, so it's easier now that I don't have to manage them.

There is a group on Facebook called Scenic San Pedro, but I didn't see any pictures of what looks like the first sunrise.

I entered the country from LAX this July, 20 days before my GC expired. I applied for renewal in February and brought the letter with me, but when I entered the country, I asked the officer if I could have the extension letter. When I asked the officer if I needed an extension letter, he said "No, it's not expired, so you don't need it. I was told "No, it has not expired, so you don't need it.

Worst case scenario, you can have someone send the letter to Japan. It takes about a week to get it after you apply for it.

The LA park recreation center does classes and they are inexpensive.

PLAY LA twice a week for a month ＄ 10.
There is a test the last week to determine if you can move up to the next level.

In the US, outdoor pools offer swimming classes only during the summer months, while indoor pools offer swimming classes all year round.

Near Park La Brea is the Pan Pacific park pool, which is outdoor and does not offer classes in the fall and winter.
Then Eleanor G Roberts Aquatic Center is about 10 minutes by car and has an indoor pool with classes all year round.

My son used to take a few times ＄ about 150, but he rather enjoyed PLAY LA.

But the American swimming classes are short, about 25 minutes per class, so it's just a little too short.
