夫が学会でロスに5日間行くのでついて行きたいと思っています。
夫は朝から晩まで学会らしいので一人で観光になります。泊まる所は大学の寮らしい。
英語はあんまり得意ではないのですが大丈夫なものなのでしょうか?

Ｌｏｓ Ａｎｇｅｌｅｓのどの辺ですか？大学の場所にも寄りますが、結構つたない英語でみんなやっていると思いますよ。ＵＣＬＡだとしたらＳａｗｔｅｌｌ（一般にそう呼んでますが・・・）に日系のお店もあるし、日本語だけで十分です。旦那さんに学校の場所を（学校名）を聞いてみた方が他の人もわかりやすいかもですね。
