TORRANCEのアパートでひとり住まいの中年女子です。ひとりのせいもありますが、いきなり誰かが訪ねて来るのがとても嫌です。知り合いや友人は前もって連絡をくれますし、隣人やアパートのマネージャーが何かの用でドアをノックする事もたまにありますが、ドア越しに声をかけてくれますから安心しています。
前々から宗教関連の人達がいきなり現れるを迷惑に思っていたのですが、中でも[エホバの証人]は[こんにちは]、[すみませーん]と日本語でドアをノックし始めます。そもそも彼らはどこで日本人の住所を手に入れているのでしょうか?そして何度断ってもしつこく現れるのが失礼という感覚は無いのでしょうか?ひとり住まいなので、応対して断わるのも怖いです。ドアに残して行くパンフレットのような物の連絡先は日本国内の住所になっています。
どの宗教でも信じている人を批判する気はありませんが、知りもしない他人の家にしつこく現れるのは(しかも日本語で)、怖いです。宗教の勧誘は他人の家にしつこく現れる場合、押し売りと同じだと思います。どうか、二度と来ないで下さい。
