日系企業の面接

初めまして。
最近、日系の企業が出していた仕事の募集に応募しました。書類審査が通り、面接のアポイントも取りました。
ここで質問なのですが、日系企業の面接での服装の基準はどういった感じなのでしょうか。ちなみにこの企業はマスコミ・メディア関連の会社です。同じような系統のアメリカ系の企業の面接の経験はいくつかあり、アメリカ系の同じような会社の基準だと、スタイリッシュ＆清潔感あり＆ある程度カジュアルなのですが（なので、お洒落・キレイめであれば面接時でもジーンズOKです）、日本系だと同じような会社でもやはりもう少しきっちりしているものなのでしょうか。
こちらの日系会社、HPなどの写真を見ると、普段の社員さんの服装はアメリカ系と同じようなカジュアルキレイな感じです
みなさんの経験をお聞かせください。

私の職場は貴方が言っているような所ではないが、私を含め後輩が面接に来たときは男女問わずスーツでしたよ。
でもね働きたいのならその気持ちが伝わるような服装がいいと思います。
それと一番大切なのは自分が後悔しないような服装。

あなたの応募している仕事はデザインとかクリエーティブ系の仕事でしょうか? そうでなければ、僕だったらスーツで行きますね。あなたの面接官が日本からの赴任者だったら、スーツ着てきた人にマイナスポイントは絶対につけないと思う。例え、アメリカ人だったとしても、日系の会社に働くアメリカ人はスーツ姿の日本人をよく見ているので、マイナスとは思わないでしょう。ということでリスクの少ないスーツにしますね。でもね、よほどおかしな服装をしていない限り、服装よりも人物中心で判断すると思います。ＬＡでは。日本では、一部のクリエーティブ系を除いて、スーツがやっぱり一般的なので、カジュアルできた人はちょっと注意して判断しますね。よっぽど面白い人か、常識もわからないバカのどちらだろうと思ってしまう。

アメリカのメディア関連の会社だと、クリエーティブ系の仕事以外でも多くの場合スーツは逆にNGとよく言われたので、質問させていただきました。
やはり日本企業はスーツがいいんですね。有難うございました。
