最近、ロサンゼルス⇔メキシコに車で通過した人いますか？

昔ティワナに車で旅行した時は、わざわざI20にサインまでもらっていったのに、パスポート見せるだけだったと記憶してます。最近LA⇔メキシコの国境はどんな感じですか？ビザの書類も提出したりしちゃうんですか？当方E−２ビザ持ち。取ったばかりの自営業です。国境＋車での通過情報知ってる方お願いします。

私は学生なのでstudent visaですが、この前メキシコの国境を通過した時はI-20も見せるよう言われました。I-20を持っていき忘れた友達がいたのですが、彼女の話によると、長いこと止められたあげく、しまいにI-94を一旦取り上げられてしまうなどとにかく厄介なことになったと言っていましたよ。
さらにロスからメキシコに入る時にパスポートにハンコをもらい忘れないように気をつけたほうが良いと思います。
E-2ビザに関してはよく分かりかねるのですが、何でも念のために持っていくことに損はないと思います。

去年４回(ティワナ、オタイ２回、エルパソ)メキシコに車で入りましたが、何の問題もなかったですよ。
入る時はただスルーですよね。
帰ってくるときはアメリカ人の入国審査官にパスポート見せるだけで３０秒ほどで通過でした。 ビザとI-９４だけあれば特に問題ないと思います。

メキシコに入国、メキシコから出国とも何もチェックされませんでした。わたしも#4さんと同じで「何かもっているか？」だけ聞かれました。
