That being the case, I used that "Land Miler" for about 10 years. I used to fly Delta Air Lines a lot back then, so when I booked online, I used my Delta Amex GoldCard to get cheaper fares in addition to the regular fares. Of course, I used this card a lot because I could earn miles for every dollar I spent on purchases other than fares.

But that's just the way the system works, and of course the Japanese word "Land Miler" never appears on Delta's English website, and I never talked to any Japanese about it, so I had never heard of the term "Land Miler" until now.

airfare and hotel, and fly first class instead of economy.

You can earn 10x or 5x miles for shopping at Marquette, or get bonus
