Birth Certificate

3ヶ月前に産まれた子供のBirth Certificateを入手したいのですが
County Recorder/Register Officeへ取りに行けば直接もらえるようですが、
これは産まれた市のofficeか住んでいる場所のofficeかどちらになりますか?
ご存知の方いらっしゃいましたら教えて下さい。

カウンティーの管轄になるので、ＬＡカウンティーで生まれたのでしたらカウンティー内のオフィスでどこでもＯＫのはずです。オフィスによって混雑の度合いがちがいます。お急ぎでなければ、郵便が楽ですよ。申請書はホームページからダウンロードできます。Birth certificate, LA countyなどのキーワードで検索してみてください。必要書類、料金、あて先などがのってます。だいたい２週間くらいで届きます。

ＬＡ郡内の病院で生まれた子なら、Down TownのFigueroa St沿いのメインオフィスに行って病院からの書類を出せば、もらえますよ。

近くの Branch なら何処でもいいけど、Branch によって受付時間がちがうので、その時間にいかないと、無駄足になるよ。

Norwalk Branch だけはいつもすごく混んでて待たされるので、運転時間を入れてでもそれ以外の Branch に行ったほうが早いですよ。
