We currently live in a rented apartment.
Tonight, my daughter and husband were in the bathtub and while playing with a water gun, water hit the ceiling and a light that was installed directly above them broke and fell. Fortunately my daughter was not hurt, although she was hit on the arm, but my husband was injured in three places.
I should have been more careful …, but I was also angry that they didn't put a plastic cover on the light right above the bathtub where steam and water splashed ？. When I was a child, I used to play with water splashing on the ceiling, so I think there are inadequate safety measures in a place where people are naked and unprotected ？ but I wonder if this is a Japanese feeling ？
Tomorrow, I'm going to tell the manager in a strong voice. I'm going to tell the manager tomorrow, but I'm assuming that there is no such thing as "water guns in the bathroom are taboo in America". ？

To enter Japan, show Japanese passport

Show your US passport when entering the US

But in the Corona Disaster, Americans need a visa.
So I have to do many procedures as a Japanese.
Is the following method sufficient?

When I went back to my hometown, I was instructed by JAL to purchase a ticket with Hanako YamadaSmith as my name on the ticket and passport. I have read that it is now possible to put a space between "Yamada" and "Smith". However, when returning to the U.S., the name on my green card, Hanako Smith, is different from my name on my green card, so I get an X at the immigration kiosk, which is a hassle. I have been coming to the US for about 20 years.
I did not come here because I wanted to, but because of my partner's situation.
Everyone has different reasons for coming to the U.S., and they may have different reasons, such as study, work, pursuing a dream, etc.
I think it is more like a dream. I didn't come to the U.S. with a positive attitude, and I still suffer from stress and anxiety and think about Japan.
Since I have spent every day in such a negative way, my English has not improved because I keep running away from it, and I continue to have a strange feeling of discomfort, as if I have missed the opportunity to get used to a very normal daily life.
