I don't watch MLB at all, but I was just watching the KNBC news and they were talking about trading Ohtani.
The commentator said it would be a big mistake to trade him.
The three of us were giving him great praise for being so Valuable. I thought he was a no-go when I saw this thread, but it was quite the opposite! I reviewed it.

Normally in MLB, five pitchers are in the rotation for four days in a row, and the DH has no opportunity to defend, so the main players and players coming off injury take turns using the DH slot as "half rest".

However, the Angels have given priority to Ohtani's two-strike rotation for entertainment purposes and fixed a six-pitcher rotation and Ohtani as the DH, which has led to various adverse effects of the two-strike rotation.

With a six-pitcher rotation, good pitchers from other teams do not join the Angels because they do not receive incentives based on pitch counts, and young pitchers from the Angels have fewer opportunities to pitch.

I really don't enjoy watching the Angels games just because Otani is on. Lately, I'm getting tired of Ohtani too.
I guess it's not enough if he doesn't play for a strong team. If this continues, he'll end up following in Ichiro's footsteps.
