水道水が不味い

キッチンのシンク下に水の業者さんにタンクを取り付けてもらい飲料水や料理に使っていました。
3か月でなんなく泥のような味がしはじめ、その後2週間で飲めないほど泥の味がします。
タンクみたいなものを取り付けても取れない何かが入っているということでしょうか。
水道から飲料水にするのはやめた方が良いでしょうか？
今不安になり質問してみました。
よろしくお願いします。。

＜フィルター交換しなくてはならないんですが、$300ちょっとと高いんで＞
セコイこと言わずに取り替えましょう。
取り付けたら交換もせずに一生使えるものではないでしょうに。

基本、日本じゃあるまいし水道水を飲もうなんて考えるからいけない。
ペットボトルに入れた水が何で店でカネとって売っているか考えりゃわかる。
「飲んでもすぐには死にゃあせん。美味い水なんて贅沢こくならもっと金払え」それが欧米の水道水です。

ペットボトルの水も水質検査に出した方がいいと思うよ。

このトピだったか、私は RO フィルターのフィルター素子を替えず3年ぐらいたったら装置そっくり買い替えると言いました。ただ今使っているフィルターの取り付けた日にちを書き忘れ、すでに4年くらい使っているかも知れません。
出てくる水はいまだにおいしく水圧も落ちていませが、メンバレン素子を洗って捨てる水の量がバカにならないほど多くなりました。それでいよいよ重い腰を上げ Costo に同じものを買おうといってみると同メーカーのものがありません。前回の Watts Premier のモデルはもうなく、別メーカーでしたが、$149.95 と $40 ぐらい安いものでした。
同性能ならどこのものでもいいやと思い買ってきましたが、Faucet（蛇口）の形状を見るとシンクの下からネジを締め付けなければならないタイプで、これは大変な作業なんです。Costco ではこのモデルしか売っておらず、即、返品しました。それで今までの Watts Premier の名をネットで探したらほぼ同じモデルを直接その会社で $159.95 で売っていました。
