F1 OPT から J1にステータスチェンジ

こんにちわ、
現在F1 OPT中で、J１にビザのステータスチェンジができるかを調べています。どなたかF1 OPTから J1に変更された方がいらっしゃればアドバイスいただけませんか。
現在働いている会社で今年のH１Bに申請しましたが抽選にもれてしまいました。今の会社でJ１のサポートをしてくれると言ってもらえたのですが、日本での学歴がない私ではJ１のrequirementに合わないのではないかと思うのですが、どなたかご存知でしょうか。よろしくお願い致します。
