OPTのテンポラリーEADカードについて

こんにちは。１１月の頭にOPTを申請して今９０日を過ぎようとしています。
そこで在学していたカレッジのインターナショナルオフィスに行きテンポラリーのEADカードを直接イミグレに取りに行くべきかと聞きました。すると電話でレシートの番号を言えば良いとの事。週明けにでも電話をしてみようと思っています。
しかし過去のトピも拝見したのですが、今いち人それぞれ意見がまちまちで過去にこう言った経験をされた方はいらっしゃいますか？
もし直接取りにいく場合は夜中に並ぶ？？のですか？？これはさすがに難しいですが…。
もし少しでも情報のある方はよろしくお願いします。

事前にWEBで移民局のホームページに行って、
Infopassというところから予約を取って
その日時に行かれる事をお勧めいたします。

さっそくどうもありがとうございました。今予約を取ってみたんですが、コンファメーションのページをプリントアウトしなきゃいけないらしく残念ながら私はプリンターを持っていないので大事な番号は全部書き留めたのですが。大丈夫かなぁ。とりあえずその日時に行ってみます。
ご親切にどうもありがとうございました。上手くいくといいな…。
