訴訟になる可能性が高い場合はもちろんですが財産分与や親権で揉めそうであれば日本人弁護士でなくアメリカ人弁護士にした方が絶対に有利です。
訴訟経験のあるアメリカ人弁護士で日本人アシスタントがいる事務所を選ばれることを強くお勧めします。

訴訟の場合は日系の弁護士を頼っちゃダメ。彼らの多くはグリーンカードの書類とか
会社設立手続きの代行が本業みたいなもので、訴訟案件には弱い。
訴訟はユダヤ系の弁護士が強いよ。人脈が物を言うし。

ここに書き込んでいる方は経験者が多いようです。よく米国事情が分かっていますね。
それでは何方が出来る弁護士でしょうか。ここが問題です。
いつも聞く話は人に紹介して貰った。或いは会社の使っている弁護士だから大丈夫と思った。
これで皆さん失敗しています。
この業界にも仕事人はいます。そこを探すことですね。

正直 腕のいい質の高い仕事ができる医者、弁護士、不動産エージェントはやっぱり日系ではないね やっぱり全体的にこっちの日系のビジネスは(ToyotaとかHondaクラスを除いて)レベル低い マーケットが狭いからしょーがないけどね
