I just visited a Ramen restaurant on PCH. Smart Final in Redondo Beach.
I love this place because the ramen is very good and the people working there are very nice.
I don't have a problem with the restaurant, I have a problem with the bad manners of the customers. It was a female customer in her 50s. She was there with what I assume was her husband.
The woman said in a loud voice for everyone to hear,
"Waitress girl, you ？ go out of your way to speak English and brag that you can speak English ？ a little better pronunciation and brag 。。。。" Here in America, I was just responding to another customer in English. It is normal to respond in English to customers who speak to you in English.
Why are you saying such mean things ？
Are you venting by saying it ？
And your husband is the one who can't stop it and is listening.

I felt sorry for the child who worked so hard.

I don't know why there are so many Japanese ladies who say things like that.
I wonder why ？.

I am a man in my early 30s currently working in Japan.
I have always wanted to work in the U.S. and am considering taking a trainee job on a J1 visa to gain experience.

This program is called the American version of the work-holiday, but what is it really like?
Actually, I had planned to travel to the U.S. in the past but had to give it up because of corona. Since I am in my 30s, I wonder if it would be worth it to go if I could gain some experience, but I am wondering if it would be too subtle as I am a trainee and would not be appreciated much upon my return.

Agents have a strong business component, so they give good advice, but what is the actual situation?
By the way, my current job is IT-related, but it is not a technical job like a programmer.
