I am currently studying at a university in the U.S. and will be transferring to a university around Sacramento or Davis around January. I have not been able to find anything, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any websites that have Japanese room-sharing opportunities in that area.

I just can't bring myself to move the yen right now because of the amazingly weak yen situation.
At the moment, I would like to buy a house in Japan to secure a place to stay in Japan, as I would like to live a hybrid lifestyle in the future.
In addition to the property tax in Japan,
are there any other taxes that would apply if I owned land in another country in the U.S. ？
Are there any documents that I need to obtain from the consulate or other authorities when I purchase a house in Japan?
Do I have to file a tax return with the IRS for deposits in Japan,
or do I have to file for land, houses, etc. ？
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had similar experiences, any problems, good or bad, etc.

I am looking for an American cell phone carrier
that allows me to receive SMS in Japan.

I'll start with
1)onesimcard's US mobile number for bank verification

It costs about $80 per year, but there are some banks
that do not accept it. For example, us bank will reject
your phone number if you register it.

2)tello
https://tello.com/
You can keep it for at least $5 a month.
But outside of US, only wifi calling is available.
When I went back to Japan temporarily, I couldn't even receive SMS.
I tried to contact tello, but they didn't give me a clear answer.
Is it a problem with my phone model?
Did you receive SMS in Japan?

Can anyone please give me some wisdom?

Because I bought the wrong airline tickets
I may not be able to make it
to the Dodgers game ＆ to watch the Dodgers game or to the distribution of the Ohtani Bobbleheads.
I hope to arrive at the airport at 2pm and be at the ballpark by 4pm. We will not be renting a car and will be moving by public transportation.
I have suitcases so I cannot go straight to the stadium
Lockers near Union Station are open until 5pm, so
pickup will be the next day.
I haven't gotten a hotel yet, so at worst I'll stay at a hotel near Union Station, but I'm trying to avoid staying near that area due to budget concerns.

We don't need to be there at 4pm since the doors open at 5pm to begin with ？
What is the best way or place to leave suitcases ？
What time can we leave the airport in the first place if we plan to arrive at 2pm ？
I could bring a knapsack at Angel Stadium （ but I need to check it in at the stadium ） but at Dodger Stadium ？
if it's possible, can I bring a change of clothes and leave my suitcase in the locker and pick it up the next day ？ or is that too much to ask?

Any advice or ideas?

If you know anything about this, please let me know. I have decided to marry my US citizen boyfriend and apply for a green card. I am embarrassed to say that neither of us is financially able to afford it, and we plan to have a joint sponsor. I used to live in LA until a few years ago, but I am now back in Japan.

I don't have an address in the US at this time, but I need an address in the US to receive mail.

I know there are some business services such as a rental address service ？ but it would be helpful if there is a place where I can do this online or other procedures from Japan.

I would appreciate it if there are people who have kept an address in Japan after returning to Japan, or if there are people who know more about it.
