I saw a posting on the Global Entry application form that says to use the name on the Grincard, but there is a proviso on the application form that says to write the name as it appears on the passport. In my case, I have only my maiden name and married name on my passport and my married name on my GC. If I fill in the form as written, the application cannot be completed because the names are mismatched. Is there any problem if I enter only the married name on the passport and not the maiden name ？?

I don't understand why you are so concerned about entry and exit.
The first time I entered online and interviewed at TB. You can pretty much choose the day and time.
I renewed three times in the past, but the interview was only the first time and I received my new card as soon as I paid for the renewal.

I see that I can apply for Global Entry at LAX, but is this only at the time of entry into the U.S. ？ If possible, I would like to do it at the time of departure from the U.S.

I applied for global entry 5 years ago.　I think it is only for US entry.　There were no kiosk terminals for Global Entry in Japan.

I think it took at least 6 months to get preapproved after applying online.　I remember how tiring it was to write all my work history, address, etc. as if I were a permanent resident when applying online. It's not easy to get. Because I thought they were checking my criminal background and probably everything. You can do the interview at a lot of different places, but I chose the L.A. airport.

I only use it twice a year and it's economy class, so I can get through immigration early without having to wait in line automatically, but I end up waiting with my suitcase, so I don't see much point.　Personally, if I were someone who only had carry-on only luggage, it might be useful.

Even with global entry, you can get through quickly in a dedicated lane when flying domestically.
I recently experienced renewal and my husband experienced reissue due to loss, and both received their cards within a week.
