老人ホームなどでのボランティアをしたいと考えています。
以前友人が、語学学校に通う合間にサンタモニカの老人ホームで
ボランティア活動をしていました。その友達は日本に帰国し、
連絡が取れない状態です。どなたか、どのようにして活動先を探し、
申し込めばよいかご存知の方いらっしゃいましたら教えてください。

以前同じようにボランティアをしようかと思ったことがあります。
私は直接ホームを訪ねて（アポなし）、「ボランティアしたいんだけどやらせてもらえませんか?」ってスタッフに聞いてみました。そしたらOKがでましたよ。
事情が変わり、結局は実行するまで至らなかったのですが。。。ボランティアということはお金が発生しないわけですし、希望して行けばそれなりに対応してもらえると思います。参考になれば。。。
