一人暮らしの引越

来年転勤でシカゴへ引っ越しすることが決まりました。一人暮らしで荷物も多くないので引っ越し専門業者でなくUSPSなどでダンボールで送ろうと考えています。ただテレビや大きめのカバンなどダンボールに入り切らないものが数点あるのですが、そういったものはどの業者にどういった形でお願いすればいいのでしょうか。

初めてのアメリカ国内の引っ越しになります。注意すべきことやアドバイス等ありましたら教えてください。
