こんにちわ、実はうちのカレッジのオフィスからこんなレターがきてて困ってます。皆さんのとこにはきてませんか？？？

To: All F-1 Visa Students
From: International Student Office

The United State government requires all F-1 visa students to file State and Federal tax forms whether they work or not.

-Students who did not work and no income for 2003 from a source in the U.S. must file the Tax Exemption Form 8843. The deadline to file this form is June 15, 2005.

-Students who こちらはワーキングの人用の文なんで長いんで省略。


For instructions on how to complete these forms, look for a copy of the U.S. Tax Guide for Aliens, Publication 519, available in public libraries and post offices. They can be downloaded from the IRS Internet web site at www.irs.gov. Form 540NR can be downloaded from www.ftb.ca.gov.

で、いろいろ見たんだけど、まるっと解らなくって…。うちのインターナショナルオフィスにいったら、忙しいから自分でやれって言われちゃったし…。しょうがないんでビザ管轄してる人のとこにいって聞いたら、私の管轄でないんでわかんないって…。ちなみに周りの意見は、めんどいんで、無視だって言ってる…。でもこういうのって、ちゃんとやっとかないと後でもっとめんどくなりそうだしね。もうアメリカあきたよ…。解る人、ヘルプミー。特にフォームの一番上のところの期間の記入のところにいつからいつと書いていいのか不明です…。
