Woman fatally attacked by man with sledgehammer at El Camino College in Torrance
The attack occurred around 7:08 a.m. on the 16000 block of Crenshaw Boulevard while the victim was collecting recyclables on campus. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was attacked by a man, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a Wednesday statement.
.LASD detectives are assisting the El Camino College Police Department in the investigation.

The suspect, 40-year-old suspect Jeffery Davis, was later arrested near the campus.

The victim was hospitalized and later died from her injuries on Dec. 25.

At the time of his initial arrest on Dec. 24, Davis was booked at the Los Angeles County South LA detention facility on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder, El Camino College Police Sgt. Francisco Esqueda said.

横やりですが、、なんでこんなことで揉めてんの？
たしかKTLAのNEWS映像では名前と年齢までは言ってないけど、被害者のご近所友人とか、カレッジのポリスが顔出しでコメントしてて、被害者のことは特定できてる感じだった。
KTLAのネット記事は一度、名前も年齢も報道してたよ。今みたらupdateで消えてるから、文字で残すのには何か配慮があったんだろうな。
でも、ご近所さんとかポリスが全く別人のことをしゃべるとは思えないし、そんなフェイク映像をつくるとも思えないなあ。
