A topic about Tip in restaurants seems to have caught fire. As for hair salons in San Gabriel, I am not sure if it is the same place you mentioned, but there used to be a Japanese owned hair salon in Arcadia where I had my hair straightened several times. I think it was there until about 2015, but I think it went out of business a few years ago.
I went to Japanese salons here and there for many years, but I couldn't find a good hair straightener in the U.S. I try to go there when I go back to Japan, but when I can't go back much, I go to a Korean salon in K-town. Koreans put a lot of effort into their beauty, so they are very attentive and close to Japanese tastes. A hair straightening plus cut and treatment set is $ 250. If you are not satisfied with Japanese salons, Korean salons are recommended.

Hello, I'm new to this in my long life in the U.S. I'd like to discuss this with you. I am an artist and have income from both W-2 and freelance and hired an American accountant who was referred to me by a friend and filed for 2019 last year.

I never met the accountant in person, but all online and over the phone, and in March he gave me a copy of the taxreturn2019 that I should have paid out, so of course I thought it was e-filed （ I didn't sign the form, but I thought I had a digital signature. I didn't sign the document, but I thought it was digitally signed ） There was no confirmation about it.
By the way, I don't think there will be a penalty since there is no money to pay to Federal and the state, just a refound.

Last September, when I did an IRS status search, I couldn't find my status, so I contacted my accountant in a panic, but he kept making excuses that I would get it tomorrow, and I had already heard during this pandemic that my TAX was due from April to July and then to October.
I believed him as it was.
However, late last year he told me that he had lost my file. I asked him if he wanted me to send him a copy of my March file ？ but he didn't reply.
I've been waiting since March, with about 10 or more "I'll send it tomorrow" messages, but recently I texted whatsup and got a response.

I'm sure the last three years have been long for the two of you, but I'm sure it's better for you as parents to finally have your marriage recognized and your parental dignity protected than to be married off by eloping.
