９ヵ月のみ車を使用したい

在米１０年になるyosakkoと申します。
残すところ９ヵ月で日本に帰国が決まっているのに、急に車の調子が悪くなり
買い替えが必要になりました。
中古車、リース、レンタカーからの選択になるかと思いますが
我が家にはどれが一番合っているのかアドバイスいただけましたらと思います。
主に子供の学校の送り迎えで利用します。
どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

修理は選択肢にはありませんか?
1ヶ月＄３００で車を９ヵ月借りたとして＄２７００ですが
それ以上の修理代ってかなりのダメージになりますがね。

私も＃２さんに同感です。
リースですと２年か３年契約となり、最初に数千ドルを払うし、早く解約するとペナルティーも払わなくてはいけないので、まずリースという選択は良くないですね。
そうすると、安い車を購入し、帰国のときに売るのはどうでしょうか?
９ヶ月ですと、車を再度売る際にもそれほど値段が下がっていないと思います。車を購入するのに、まとまったお金が必要ですが、レンタルよりも最終的には安くなる可能性があります。

以前、無料日系紙の広告で見た記憶なのですが、
保険も修理も全部込みこみでコンパクトカー、ローカル使用（同County)で月＄４００くらいのを見たような気がします。
もう無いかもしれませんけど。保険代も考えたら高くないですよね。そのくらいなら。チープレンタカーとかだったかなあ?
