国の手当て?

クビになったわけではなく、自主退社の後、
失業保険のように、何か、国、州、政府から頂ける手当のようなものなどございますか?
当方グリーンカード保持者ですが、市民権はありません、、、
フードスタンプや、何か少しでも生活の足しに出来るような方法などありますでしょうか?

グリーンカード保持者とアメリカ市民では同じ権利が受けれるとは思わない。
外国籍の者がアメリカ市民と同じ保護を受けれるなら
わざわざアメリカ市民になる必要は無い。

アメリカを離れて外国でテロなどに巻き込まれて援助が必要になった時
グリンカード見せればアメリカ市民と同等でアメリカ大使館が保護してくれるのだろうか。
