I think this is the most foolish idea of all. Everyone has preconceptions and biases, but sometimes we can improve things by learning from objective data and changing our perceptions.

It is also true that vaccines have risks and are not a panacea, and that they can and do infect people regardless of whether they are vaccinated/not vaccinated. Also, the difference in mortality rates nowadays is in a way natural because of the difference in vaccination rates at the state level. However, since Florida cannot be explained by that alone, it is possible that masks or lockdowns or both, in addition to age groups, are also a major factor, and if we can analyze this more, it may give us a clue as to the direction we should take in the future.

In any case, the current vaccine will have limited effect on mutant strains, and if, for example, it is proven with certainty that correct mask use will affect the marked difference in mortality/infection rates between red and blue states, it should be enforced nationwide.

You said the mass media can't be trusted, but you started off by saying we should watch Fox, which has the largest viewership in the US, and then you went on to say that Breitbart News is trustworthy. Even though it was a propaganda organization run by Trump's former chief strategist (who was later arrested and pardoned by Trump) as CEO.
