As mentioned above, my gf's reservation was stuck in the middle, so I proceeded to try myself on the site to see if I could get such a low fare next May, which is when I want to go, for $490.

Based on my own troubles, I will be staying in Tokyo Ryogoku this year. By the way, Baikinman, where in Tokyo did you grow up? When you said Ryogoku, it sounded like it was close, but was it my imagination?

I also saw an advertisement for cheap tickets to Singapore. I won't do anything now because I have my next trip lined up, but I will also try to do Black Friday in November if I can afford it. Last year on Black Friday I was able to buy cheaper than the advertisement that is out now.

Yes, my birthplace is near the fifth station from Ryogoku station on the Sobu line toward Chiba. I lived in that town with my parents until I left university. My legal domicile at that time was "Ryogoku". Ryogoku is famous for the Sumida River fireworks and the Kokugikan Sumo stadium.

Also, on the subject of iron-chan, the old platform and station building still exist on the north side of the current Sobu Line station platform at ground level, and are still used for temporary train arrivals and departures. Until I was born more than 10 years ago, there was no railway bridge over the Sumida River to Asakusabashi Station and further west, and Ryogoku Station was the terminal station for the Chiba area.

As for the SQ promotion, I tried it again today, but I couldn't even Log-In, so I gave up completely. This time I will start purchasing as soon as I get the promotional email.
