Port Wynnimie is the name of the port on the ocean side
It has always been famous for the port where Mazda cars enter the US
The bars near the port used to thrive with guys looking for spring
Poimagoo is famous for the naval base, especially the air force
I went to see the airshow
I grew up in Ventura County too. I grew up there, so I miss it.

I didn't know Port Wainiemi had a connection with Japan until now. We were driving from S.F. Valley to 118 → 23 → 101, but we were getting off 101 relying on the name of our destination Port Hueneme until Point Mugu Naval Air Station. I always wondered which exit was the right one.

Depending on which exit I took, I would pass by Camarillo Airport, where there are many classic small propeller planes to enjoy.
