I just recently found out I am pregnant.
I go to Torrance for my internist, but it takes over an hour from my house on the highway, which is too far for me to go for a prenatal checkup, so I am looking for a closer location.

Kashiwabara OB/GYN is temporarily closed, and Suzuki OB/GYN has a referral page on the web but is not listed on Google maps.

When I entered the U.S. from Europe using Global Entry the other day, after having my picture taken on the monitor, the officer called my name one by one and I was allowed to enter the U.S. immediately. When I asked why I had never been treated differently before, I was told that everyone says so.
I don't see the point of receiving a global entry...
I know there are quite a few people in the U.S. with name discrepancies, but do you all use Global Entry? ？
I'm thinking about lining up with the examiner's example from the beginning.

I have a question for those who have had a name change, such as registering in the US, or have had similar experiences with SSN, DMV.

I was in the US on OPT which expires 2/29/2024 and I married a US citizen in the US in November 2023. I am currently in the pending period of obtaining a green card.

Since I am on OPT, my driver's license will also expire on 2/29 tied to that, so I went to the DMV with the I-797c I received in the green card application process and the EAD for my life until 2/29, hoping to get my license before it expires.
They accepted those two as documents for renewal of my license, but to my foolishness, I had forgotten to change my SSN name and was told that I could not renew because my name in the system was still my maiden name.
(I-797c was issued with my new last name. )

I panicked and went to the Social Security office to try to change my name, but was told, "Your current EAD until 2/29 has too little validity left to change your name." They also did not accept my I-797c and Marriage Certificate.

I tried to apply for AB60 because I need a car to live without, but one DMV said, "No, because it's a pending green card period and you don't qualify as someone who can apply in the first place." Another DMV said "I-797c can't do it, you need to bring your I-797" etc. I am confused.

Long story short, my question is
・ Is there any way to get a license under these circumstances?
・ Once the I-797 arrives, can I use it to rename my SSN ？ Has anyone had such an experience ？ Will I have to wait endlessly for the new EAD to arrive … tears

Rough question Sorry for the sketchy question, but if anyone can lend me some wisdom, it would be greatly appreciated.

I got a green card last year and now I am living in Japan, is there any other documents I need for tax return other than w-2 ？
I asked my tax accountant but he didn't give me any clear answer … \;_;)

Hello. I have a question regarding the renewal of my 10 year permanent residency. My wife and I applied last year on January 25, 2021, and our fingerprints were taken on March 20 of that year. And my Green Card was received within 10 days. However, my wife's I-90 is still under examination and she has not received her Green Card. It has been 14 months since I received my Green Card. Is this a common case ？?
