LAに住んでいた90年代後半ごろの古い話ですみません。
よくFM94.7 で流れていたSmooth Jazzの有名なアーティスト数名と出来れば曲タイトル教えていただけますか? ケニーG以外です。

私はカーステのラヂオを 88.1 KJAZZ Long Beach 固定です。
つまりジャズなら何でもＯＫ、広く浅くです。
でも Fusion Jazz もそこ頃はよく聞きました。Bob James なんか
カセットを買ったが、誰かに貸したら戻って来なかった。
でも、基本、生の楽器演奏モノの方が好みかな。素人ながら
クラリネットとソプラノサックスを吹くから。

2年前辺りからかな、突如ジャンルの違う曲を流す局になりました。
前はSmooth Jazz専門でしたね。今はマイケルジャクソンの曲聴きながら、楽しくドライブしてます。
でも、私は個人的にはスムースJazz系より
88.1で流れるJazzが大好きです！
なんかN.Yの街中にいるような気分になるから。。
あと私の大好きな曲はBob Jamesのタクシードライバー
です。これは映画のテーマ曲です(知ってますね！)

そうだったんですね！私はJazzはあまり知らないのですが、Fourplayや、ちょっとかぶりますがLee Ritenour, Nathan Eastが好きで良く聴きます。
Bob JamesのTaxiのテーマ曲、あの雰囲気いいですね、私も好きです。

皆様、情報ありがとうございます。
日本へ帰国し、たまにアメリカのLAへ遊びにいくと必ず94.7をかけて懐かしんでいたのです。
当時ラジオからカセットテープに録音した曲は、CDに移して今でも聞いてます。DJの声や間のさざ波の音とかもはいってるし、LAで録音したせいか、かなり音が良く臨場感あふれてて宝物です。

Smooth Jazzじゃないけど日本でもWOWOWの音声放送セントギガでやってましたね。デジタルなのでそのままCDに録音していました。
