I don't need Yakult to survive, I just don't buy it, and people whose lives are made harder by a mere 50 cent increase in price.

Ototsan lives to hand out Yakult to the neighborhood amigos, so the 50 cent price increase is bearable.
I hope Ototsan's pension will be increased more than Yakult. It's hard being a pensioner.

Let's go to the ballpark to cheer for Otani and get Yakult.

Pensioners have pensions and real estate income from both Japan and the U.S. and

a bank account that pays too much interest every month, even after withdrawals

and the balance never goes down

they do not have to willingly live in extreme poverty

Pension from Japan is not withdrawn as soon as it is deposited

You intentionally leave it untouched for a year

You no longer have too much money

You are a self-styled do-it-yourself homeless person

I have to withdraw my IRA I have to, but
the amount of annual dividends coming in is more than the amount of annual withdrawals, so it's positive and doesn't decrease.

IRAs are deposited monthly, but
half of them are also deposited into a separate account from the IRA.

I called in July of 2023 and asked
if I retire, I can no longer deposit into my IRA account.
The amount I was depositing into my IRA account each year would become income.

I called and asked if I could withdraw money from my IRA account if I couldn't deposit it
they calculated it and told me how much I could withdraw each month
they also said I could withdraw more if I wanted.

There are two types of pensions in Japan, basic pension and welfare pension ＄ 25x2 with a $50 fee every 2 months.

I found ＄ $10 fee at a Korean bank.
This makes sense because they only deduct $20 every two months.

Receiving annuities is a bank in another country with lower fees.
I will still use US Bank for online banking.

I don't go out of my way to withdraw it, so I can save a lot if I leave it for a year.
I'll think about how to use it after a year now.

I will save my pension from Japan if I can transfer it to buy a new Prius battery.

I have to leave the car for 2 days at the dealer for the price and installation fee, but
the place I was referred to can finish the installation in about 4 hours.

The Showa era fathers were extremely poor, so they could live on a budget and play on Sundays every day.
