Nadeshiko-kai is an officially recognized NPO 501C ™ (3 ™) organization in the U.S. that holds Japanese cultural experience events and classes, as well as Japanese cultural experience, transmission, and introduction events such as Japanese cultural experience events and demonstrations for the next generation of young people. Every month, we offer kimono dressing classes and Japanese culture workshops for our members. Since 2013, the organization has hosted an annual Coming of Age event in LA under the auspices of the Consulate-General of Japan in Los Angeles.
In 2026, the coming-of-age ceremony will be held in Gardena on January 11, 2026. Details will be announced on the Nadeshiko-kai web and various social networking sites as soon as they are finalized, and participants will be invited.
