the heavier the car is, the more you have to step on the gas pedal
to achieve the same speed. The more you accelerate, the more you
pump gasoline into the engine, resulting in
more gasoline being used.

2 ． Avoid rapid acceleration

you use.
Sudden acceleration, such as after stopping at a traffic light or going around a curve, consumes gasoline in an unexpected way.
