“Gazen,” a creative Japanese izakaya that opened in July 2015
celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, and we strive to create a restaurant that keeps our customers coming back.
We serve dishes such as teppanyaki and sushi, and our restaurant is bustling with Japanese customers who miss traditional Japanese izakayas, as well as foreigners who love Japanese cuisine.
Located near Dodger Stadium, the restaurant is becoming increasingly popular with guests visiting before and after MLB games.
In August, we hosted a lively festival that drew people from all over the U.S.—primarily Japanese Americans—who are familiar with Japanese culture.
We welcome a wide range of customers who use our restaurant as a gathering place for families, coworkers, and friends.
While we give preference to experienced candidates, we’ll provide thorough training from the ground up for motivated individuals committed to long-term employment—even if you have no prior experience.

With four locations in Tokyo and a history spanning over 30 years, we are the first overseas branch of the “Original Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen.” Under Japanese ownership, we strive to create a cozy, home-like restaurant that will be cherished by local customers for years to come, while cherishing the unique Japanese hospitality and our commitment to flavor.
Currently, our team includes a diverse group of members—from staff who started with no prior experience to students ・ and stay-at-home moms. What we value most is teamwork and character, not just experience. We adjust our homemade noodles daily based on the day’s temperature and humidity. The broth is simmered slowly for 24 hours, and even our jumbo gyoza are handmade from scratch, starting with the wrappers. This is an environment where you can learn how to make authentic ramen from the ground up from our owner—a master craftsman with over 30 years of hands-on experience in ramen preparation.
