Aki-matsuri (Thanksgiving) 2022 & Shimekazari Workshop & Volunteer Opportunity

Let's experience Japanese traditions and culture!
Shinto Shrine of Shusse Inari in America holds annual Thanksgiving event! And Shimekazari Workshop!
On Saturday, November 12th, we will hold 秋祭 Aki-matsuri & 注連飾りワークショップ Shimekazari Workshop (in person)!
At 秋祭 Aki-Matsuri / Thanksgiving, we will communicate our gratitude for a bountiful harvest, improving ourselves, new friendships and successes, as well as blessing of good fortune, and happiness.

We will hold this ceremony in person at Echo Hall Gardena (15016 Nader Pl, Gardena, CA 90249), we will stream it to YouTube. Whenever we do ceremonies at a special location, we try to set up the camera to show the ceremony, so this video will be special! Only the Aki-Matsuri will be streamed.

Right after the Aki-matsuri, we will hold a Shimekazari Workshop.
Come join us to make your own Shimekazari New Year's decorations to welcome 2023's Kami-sama! It's fun to make with your kids and/or partner!
Please submit here to reserve your place! We request a $40 donation per participant to cover the cost of materials.

Your support makes these events possible.
Please contribute to the location rental fee by donating!
