A Free Bilingual Book Festival for the Whole Family

The sixth annual Los Angeles Libros Festival, hosted by author and
journalist Gustavo Arellano, will present a full day of entertainment
featuring Spanish-language and bilingual storytelling, musical
performances, author talks and art workshops.

 

The notable line-up includes bestselling National Book Award-winning
author Elizabeth Acevedo; Pedro Martín, winner of the Newbery Honor
and the Pura Belpré Award; and Susie Jaramillo from Emmy-nominated
preschool brand Canticos. Additional award-winning authors include
Jesús Trejo, Eliza Kinkz, Mirelle Ortega, Jose Ramirez, Elisa
Chavarri, Ericka Sanchez, Joe Cepeda, Racquel Marie, and Leopoldo
Gout. The festival will also feature art workshops with Self Help
Graphics & Arts, LACMA, and MOLAA.
