Manhattan Beach Seeks Community Members for Board and Commission Vacancies

The City of Manhattan Beach is inviting residents to apply for open seats on its Boards and Commissions, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the community's development and decision-making. Vacancies are available on the Parking and Public Improvements Commission, Cultural Arts Commission

The City of Manhattan Beach is seeking community-spirited people to fill vacancies on the City’s Boards and Commissions. 

THE FOLLOWING COMMISSIONS WILL HAVE VACANCIES: 


* Parking and Public Improvements Commission Seat No. 2 
* Cultural Arts Commission Seat No. 5
*

Library Commission Seat No. 3 

To be considered for one of these Commission seats you must be a resident of Manhattan Beach and a registered voter. Please visit www.manhattanbeach.gov/boardsandcommissions [ https://www.manhattanbeach.gov/departments/boards-and-commissions?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]to submit an application and to learn more about each Board and Commission. Deadline to submit an online application is by *4:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2025. *

Board and Commission interviews are still to be determined. The City Clerk’s Office will contact applicants with information on the next steps in the process. *The City Council will consider all applications and appoint members to the Board & Commissions at the City Council Regular Meeting on January 21, 2025.*  For more information please call (310) 802-5056.
