*Burn Area Residents Urged to Prepare for Potential Mud and Debris Flow*

Residents of recent burn areas, including the Eaton, Palisades, Franklin, Hughes and Bridge fire areas, are urged to take extra precaution and prepare in advance of the incoming storm.

Small, isolated mud and debris flows are possible in burn areas with less than two years of recovery. Streets may be flooded or blocked by debris, and some high-risk properties in recent burn areas may be advised to evacuate. *New Relief Funds for Small Businesses and Workers*

In the aftermath of devastating windstorms and wildfires that have disrupted lives and businesses across the region, the Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity and the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department announced the launch of the LA Region Small Business and Worker Relief Funds [ https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/CALACOUNTY/bulletins/3cea0c4 ]. The two funds create a public-private partnership to provide immediate relief for wildfire-impacted small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and workers.
