Use #TorranceCA so we can find your shots and share them!   WHATS NEW Labor Day City Hall and all Torrance Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of Labor Day. Street sweeping is canceled on Monday. Monday refuse and recycling will be collected on Tuesday, September 3. FALL Torrance Seasons Registration is Now Open! REGISTER TODAY Deployment Volunteers Needed In response to the growing number of disasters impacting communities nationwide, the American Red Cross is urgently seeking new volunteers across the Los Angeles region to join their Shelter Services Team. Shelter Services Team members, play a vital role in disaster relief operations and providing essential support services to people affected by disasters. Lights of Hope at Torrance City Hall A group of cancer survivors and supporters gather outside Torrance City Hall to light luminarias representing loved ones affected by cancer. This gathering was organized by the American Cancer Society – Cancer Action Network volunteers in the Torrance area and raised about $16,000 in the mission to impact the future of cancer.
