Residential Overlay District (ROD) Community FORUM




Dear Manhattan Beach Resident, 

We are pleased to invite you to a community forum to learn about the Residential Overlay District (ROD) and share your thoughts. Here are the details of the meeting:

Date: *Wednesday, April 9, 2025  *
Time: *6:00 PM to 8:00 PM  *
Location: J*oslyn Community Center,* 1601 North Valley Drive, Manhattan Beach, CA

The ROD was established in 2023 to comply with California housing laws. At the forum, City staff will provide details on the ROD and cover frequently asked questions to help you better understand the background, regulatory framework, and implications to the City. Most importantly, the forum will provide residents with an opportunity to share their thoughts.

We encourage your attendance and participation as your input and engagement will assist in shaping the conversation around housing and development in Manhattan Beach.
