Road Work Closures - Parking Expansion: 90 New Public Parking Spaces within Downtown Manhattan Beach

The Public Works Department will begin the work on Monday, November 4, 2024, through Thursday, November 7, 2024. “No Parking” signs will be posted to designate street closures where work will begin to stripe the new parking spaces. The closures will affect the locations listed below.

Road Work Closures - Parking Expansion - 90 New Public Parking Spaces within Downtown Manhattan Beach [ https://www.manhattanbeach.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/55469/638658822585708709?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]The City of Manhattan Beach is taking steps to provide alternative parking in the downtown area due to the demolition of Parking Lot 3 [ https://www.manhattanbeach.gov/departments/public-works/engineering-division/capital-improvement-program-cip-project-updates/parks-facilities-parking-lots/lot-3-parking-structure-project?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]. The City Council authorized the creation of 90 new downtown public parking spaces, enhancing accessibility and convenience for residents and visitors.

* Manhattan Avenue between 14th Place and 15th Street
* Manhattan Avenue between Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Center Place

*Day 3 and 4: Wednesday, November 6, and Thursday, November 7, - 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM*
