More than* 4,773* Right of Entry forms have been submitted online as of 4 PM, Friday, Jan. 31, 2025. The form, available in Spanish and English, is part of Phase 2 [ https://recovery.lacounty.gov/debris-removal/?utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= ] of debris removal and requires applicants to decide to opt-in or opt-out to the county's free nonhazardous debris removal program. By opting into the program, residents are ensured safe removal of debris by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at no cost to them. Of the submissions received* 4,576* have opted-in and *197* have opted-out.

Residents can call the* Fire Debris Hotline* at (*844) 347-3332 *with questions or to get help completing the form*. *In-person assistance also is available at the Disaster Recovery Centers [ https://recovery.lacounty.gov/recovery-centers/?utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= ] from 9 AM to 8 PM.

Pacific Coast Highway will reopen to essential traffic on Sunday, February 2 at 8 AM. PCH will be limited to one lane in each direction to allow for cleanup and utility restoration work. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued an ocean water closure *from **Encinal Canyon to 31250 Broad Beach Rd., in Malibu *due to the release of untreated sewage. The Department of Public Health will conduct water sampling, and the closures will remain in effect until Public Health receives two sampling results indicating that bacterial levels meet health standards.
Due to the increase in fire debris along the ocean waters, the Ocean Water Closure for Las Flores State Beach to Santa Monica State Beach [ http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/phcommon/public/media/mediapubdetail.cfm?cur=cur&ou=ph&prid=4955&prog=media&row=25&start=1&unit=media&utm_content=&utm_medium=email&utm_name=&utm_source=govdelivery&utm_term= ] remains in effect. *Beach users should avoid water and stay away from fire debris or heavy ash on the sand*. The Disaster Recovery Center at Pasadena City College will be shutting down at 8 PM on Jan. 31, 2025. Services will transition to the Altadena Disaster Recovery Center located at 540 W. Woodbury Rd. Altadena, CA 91001.
Residents will be able to access recovery services at the remaining Disaster Recovery Centers located in *Altadena *and* UCLA Research Park West, *which will be open seven days a week from 9 AM to 8 PM.

Governor Newsom has signed an Executive Order suspending penalties, costs, and interest on late property tax payments for properties impacted by the wildfires. This suspension will remain in effect until April 10, 2026, for secured and unsecured property taxes due in calendar year 2025.
