As autumn settles in with its golden hues, we're excited to share some exciting updates and upcoming events that capture the vibrant energy of our community. October promises a variety of activities, developments, and opportunities to connect—so join us as we look ahead!

First, we’re excited to announce that the Glendale Sports Complex is going solar! This project highlights our commitment to environmental stewardship. We invite you to join us on October 3 at Sparr Heights Community Center to learn more about how this initiative will benefit our community.

Continuing our dedication to enrich Glendale’s cultural landscape, we encourage you to visit Projecting L.A. 2024 at ReflectSpace in the Glendale Central Library. This free exhibit features a diverse collection of photojournalism and street photography, offering an intimate glimpse into the stories that define Los Angeles. It’s a great way to experience the rich diversity of our city.

Don’t miss the Annual Fall Festival on October 28 at Pacific Community Center! This family-friendly event promises something for everyone, from pumpkin picking to live entertainment, food vendors, and more. Bring your loved ones and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

We’re also hosting a special City Hall in Your Neighborhood on October 15 at 6:00 PM at Joe Bridges Clubhouse in Glenoaks Canyon. This meeting offers a unique chance to learn about City projects, meet City officials, and connect with Council and staff. We look forward to seeing you there!

Come along with Community Parks and Services as they trek through the park and explore the sounds of the night. What animals are out and about during these hours? What are they doing up so late? Water, snacks, and complimentary bus transportation will be available from the Pacific Park Community Center, leaving at 8:30 AM and returning at 12:30 PM.

Everyone is encouraged to ride the bus, but you may choose to meet us at the park. Funding for the bus is provided by Metro, a partner in our community.

The food box is designed to supplement dietary intake of calcium, potassium, and vitamins seniors need to stay healthy. Age and income eligibility requirements apply.
