I teach tennis.

I was going to start 8 years ago with the help of the Tennis Support Center in Japan, but due to my own injury, I decided to start now.

Repetition is the basis of tennis. If you can't hit the ball and you rally with other players who can't hit the ball, you will get into strange habits and become a bad player. It is important to hit the ball with the correct form. You will improve if you first memorize the correct form and hitting point in your mind.

There are two sets of automatic tennis machines, which are used to teach even beginners the basics and bring them up to the level where they can play the game. The first lesson is on the machines only, not on the tennis courts, and could be used for practice for USTA league participants or school tournaments. I am right handed and this allows me to play with my left. It is great for volley practice. If you play volley, you can set it up in a small courtyard and practice. Having a place to set up is a requirement for this lesson.
Lessons are only one hour per week, and the rest of the time is a program of repetitive practice against the machine as time permits.
