●Every room in the center is bright and clean

The center meets all of the numerous regulations and standards set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS ）, the equivalent of Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) and the Public Health Service of the Government of Canada. *The facility is fully designed and prepared to handle emergency situations. All of our nurses, including Dr. Ohara, are certified in emergency life-saving techniques.


◎Early endoscopy is recommended for early diagnosis and treatment of gastric and colon cancer ◎
In general, early stage cancer is asymptomatic. Cancers found after symptoms appear are often advanced cancers.
Although it is often put off because of reluctance, it is recommended to have an endoscopy as soon as possible rather than having it detected after it has become advanced.

● Safe and painless endoscopy

The facility is on the same level as hospital endoscopy facilities. The endoscopy rooms are spacious, bright, and relaxing. The Odyssey ASC Endoscopy Center was designed and newly built from the ground up by a team of ASC （ Ambulatory Surgical Center ） expert design architects and their architecture firm. It is equipped with the latest technology, safe facilities&equipment, and a spacious and clean environment.

●Perfect infection control measures

An automatic washer is used to clean endoscopes. After treatment with enzyme-activated detergent and disinfectant sterilizer （ Aldehydes ） exclusively for endoscopes, endoscopes are disinfected with alcohol each time. The disinfectant （ Aldehydes ） is replaced with a new Aldehydes every 28 days, as per regulations. All instruments other than endoscopes are disposable for each use. We take all possible precautions to prevent nosocomial infections.

●Care for patients after examination

After examination, a nurse will escort you to the entrance of the endoscopy center in a wheelchair. We take great care to ensure the safety and health of each patient, even after the examination. Please feel free to consult with us about any concerns or anxieties you may have.
