Engineer at a large company turns to the VC industry and becomes a co-founder of an independent VC firm. Research on wireless communications at Toshiba's R&D center ・ Standardization of international standards for wireless LAN ・ Mr. Nakajima, who was engaged in semiconductor chip development work and obtaining patents, decided to attend business school after seeing foreign companies commercialize system LSIs at twice the speed of Japanese companies. This was because while the Japanese companies, which were ahead in terms of technology, were taking a long time to commercialize their products, the overseas companies were focusing on how to take the de facto standard for their finished products, while still basing their products on standards. Mr. Nakajima attended the Graduate School of Management, Globis University, where he was exposed to more than 150 cases and engaged in heated discussions with his fellow students, and decided to pursue his aspiration of making engineers happy. With this aspiration in mind, he joined the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (INCJ), where he is in charge of the deep tech field. Deep tech is something that takes time based on deep scientific research, requires a huge amount of investment, and the applications that are developed are not originally envisioned, and furthermore, will change the world in profound ways. After achieving results at INCJ, Mr. Nakajima joined Mistletoe, led by Taizo Son, to oversee investment activities as CIO （ Chief Investment Officer ） in 2017. With Taizo Son's backing, he founded Spirete （ Entrepreneurship Creation Lab ） with 15th Rock （ Independent VC ） in 2019. In the
