   Apply for our January 2025

Classes start Wednesday,
January 15th, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

We are accepting applications for class #16 of our Community Police Academy!

The course is intended for those interested in learning more about how the El Segundo Police Department functions and operates. The goal of the program is to open the lines of communication and encourage interaction between our officers and the community. 

The course will start on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the police station. Each class is taught by one of our subject matter experts. Some of the topics include:


* SWAT
* K9
* DUI
* Dispatch
* Investigations 

You do not need to be a resident of El Segundo to apply. It is a free 10-week course on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Dinner from a local eatery is also included every week.
